Food:
Bangalore is heaven for food lovers. You can taste exotic varieties of dishes ranging from traditional and heritage food to Chinese and Continental. You can also find incredible variety of sea food in Bangalore. Rice is the staple food of here with coconut being main ingredient in almost every dish. Bangalorean food is non greasy with most of the dishes prepared by steaming or roasting. Rice is generally served with Hulli or Sambhar that is a thick delicious soup with vegetables.
There are a variety of restaurants in Bangalore that will serve you with dishes that are traditional as well as exotic. You can try simple food at some of the local idli shops. Some of the restaurants may not serve you with cutlery as Bangalorean eat with their hands. Wash your hands at the basin and use right hand to have your meals.

Culture:
Dasara, a traditional celebratory hallmark of the old Kingdom of Mysore, is the state festival and is celebrated with great vigour.
Bangalore is known as the Garden City of India because of its greenery and the presence of many public parks, including the Lal Bagh and Cubbon Park.
The city will celebrate which is known to be Bangalore's most important and oldest festivals called "Karaga Shaktyotsava" or Bangalore Karaga. Deepavali, the "Festival of Lights", transcends demographic and religious lines and is another important festival. Other traditional Indian festivals such as Ganesh Chaturthi, Ugadi, Sankranthi, Eid ul-Fitr, and Christmas are also celebrated.
Bangalore is home to the Kannada film industry, which churns out about 80 Kannada movies each year.
The diversity of cuisine is reflective of the social and economic diversity of Bangalore. Roadside vendors, tea stalls, and South Indian, North Indian, Chinese and Western fast food are all very popular in the city. Udupi restaurants are very popular and serve predominantly vegetarian, regional cuisine.
Bangalore is also a major center of Indian classical music and dance. Classical music and dance recitals are widely held throughout the year and particularly during the Ramanavami and Ganesha Chaturthi festivals. The Bengaluru Gayana Samaja has been at the forefront of promoting classical music and dance in the city.
The city also has a vibrant Kannada theater scene with organizations like Ranga Shankara leading the way. Bangalore is also sometimes called as the "Pub Capital of India" and is one of the premier places to hold international rock concerts.

Language:
Bangalore languages comprise of all the languages spoken in the state of Karnataka. The language spoken by the majority of Bangaloreans is Kannad. Kannad
The most common language in Bangalore is Kannad. The majority of the population of the city converses in Kannad. It belongs to the Dravidian family of languages and is the official language of the state of Karnataka.
English

Telugu
The official language of Andhra Pradesh, Telugu is widely spoken in Bangalore also.
Tamil
