DO's And DONT's:
1. As you prepare to climb the uphill road please see that your vehicle has up-to-date PUC (Pollution under control Certificate). If found guilty, you could be prevented from climbing up to Mount Abu.
2. Please do not honk your horn unnecessarily and certainly not the pressure horns.
3. Kindly do not exceed the approved speed of 30 K. M. P. while climbing to Mount Abu and driving in and around Mount Abu
4. Please do not feed any wild animal (including monkeys on the road) on the way to Mount Abu - The offence is punishable with fine and imprisionment.
5. Please does not light anything on the way to Mount Abu or throw any burning match or any other burning material on the road or into tbhe forest area,
6. While coming down from Mount Abu please give preference of passage to the vehicle climbing up.
7. Do not drink alcohal on your journey to Mount Abu and Back. There could be random alcohal test and if found under influence of alcohal on the steering your licence could be confiscated and on three such violations you could be debarred from driving for life.
8. Adhere to the traffic rules on the way to Mount Abu and also while driving in and around Mount Abu.
9. Please do not go to the forest area alone and never after dusk. If you still desire to be in the jungle for adventure always have a forest guard with you.
10. Please keep Mount Abu clean. DO NOT LITTER. The offence is punishable.
11. Do not carry plastic bags with you in Mount Abu, the offence is punishable.
12. Do not use high decibel music systems both in your car and also otherwise.
13. At night lower the beam of your vehicle while driving in and around Mount Abu.
14. In doubt always take help of the Tourist Police.

How To Reach:
Mount Abu is a well known hill-station in Rajasthan state of western India, located in Sirohi district, The mountain forms a distinct rocky plateau 22 km long by 9 km wide. Being a popular holiday destination the place is well connected to rest of the country.

By Air:
The nearest airport is Udaipur at a distance of 185 km, But Ahmedabad is having better connectivity and daily flights with other parts of the country and is just 221 KM from Mount Abu, from Ahmedabad or Udaipur you can book Taxi in advance.

By Rail:
Abu Road is the nearest railway station just 28 KM from the main city, Which is very well connected by rail routes to New Delhi, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, and Mumbai. From Abu Road you can opt for state transport service (usually every hour) or Taxis on both sharing and private basis.

By Road:
Mount Abu is well connected by road with major cities of the country, nearest national highway no. 14 is just 24 KM's.
